Daytime restaurants with nightclub

In 1989, Voges opened in the sky above Munich on the 11th and 12th floors of the former Hertie skyscraper on Münchener Freiheit.

The concept combined the idea of a daytime restaurant with a nightclub overlooking Munich. On special days, the ceiling of the club, which was already famous in the 70s, opened above the dance floor and under the starry Munich sky, people danced until the early hours of the morning.

The skyscraper established itself as a club with a live stage for jazz musicians.
